Kate S. Warner, Architect

Kate Warner has been practicing as an architect on Martha’s Vineyard since 1987 and started her own practice in 1992 in West Tisbury.   She designs energy-conscious houses that respect the Vineyard landscape and vernacular.

She is an advocate of a team approach to house construction that encourages the inclusion of the builder from as early in the project as possible.  She has worked with a number of island contractors including:  ICMC, Patrick Mitchell, Larry Schubert, Bill Dreyer, Rick Colson and others. 

She also collaborates with Gino Mazzaferro of ICMC to offer complete design-build services.
